Bryson Rand (b. 1982, Phoenix, AZ) grew up living around the world as the son of an Air Force pilot. He received his BFA from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2004, and an MAT from the School of Visual Arts in 2009. Having worked as an art teacher in New York City, he returned to school to receive an MFA in Photography from Yale (2015). His work has been in a number of group shows in the US and abroad, and his photographs and writings have been featured in several publications. Rand has worked as a Wurtele Gallery Teacher at the Yale University Art Gallery since 2013 and taught at the Yale Norfolk Summer program in 2014.
