In an episode of the podcast Magic Hour, Stephen Koch, director of the Peter Hujar Archive, talks with host Jordan Weitzman about his career as a writer and teacher, and about Hujar, who entrusted his estate to Koch when he died in 1987. Koch describes meeting Hujar through his mentor Susan Sontag, and talks about his friendship with the brilliant and complicated artist, whose work was practically unknown outside his small circle of admirers at the time of his death.
