A short, silent film documents the working process of Bernd and Hilla Becher in America in 1987. Filmed by their son, Max, and edited in 2022 for the Metropolitan Museum’s Becher exhibition, the film shows the artists driving their VW bus, moving heavy equipment, and positioning the camera to photograph a grain elevator.
