In response to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, artist Richard Misrach—along with Fraenkel Gallery in San Francisco, Pace Gallery in New York, and Marc Selwyn Fine Art in Los Angeles—will offer a special edition photograph to be sold in support of relief efforts. Misrach and his galleries will give 100% of the proceeds from sales of his The Swimmer, Cosmic Sea, Detail Positive (2023) to two organizations: California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund and LA Arts Community Fire Relief Fund. Misrach created this image in connection with his critically acclaimed series On the Beach, which pictures bathers adrift in the ocean. The signed, limited edition print is 20 x 26 inches—each print is priced at $5,000 with an optional additional framing cost of $850.
